Neil Shotton

Neil has an extensive background in the energy and sustainability markets both in the UK and the United States and founded Airfriendly in 2022.

​

He is the current CEO of The Logical Utilities Company which he founded in 2009 following an extensive career in Business Process Outsourcing, Consulting and M&A.  Logical now has in excess of $500m energy under management for some of Europe's largest commercial brands.

Having worked on extensive secondments at Dun & Bradstreet (U.S) and McKinsey’s, Neil has a wealth of experience in corporate strategy & commodity markets. He was responsible for eight acquisitions during his tenure at Primedia (S.A) including the high profile acquisition of database marketing leaders DunnHumby (Tesco).

Starting his career in the family business Mailcom PLC, Neil has developed a detailed knowledge of wholesale retail energy and carbon credit markets having worked in the sector for over 24 years.

Bob Holt, OBE

With a career spanning more than five decades, Bob has taken senior positions within some of the UK’s most successful companies.  He was most recently CEO of Revolution Beauty PLC amongst holding other high profile senior international roles. 

He is perhaps most widely known for his pivotal role in the rise of Mears Group PLC. He took the business from only 83 staff through to an IPO on the London stock market in 1996, to a £1bn group with over 12,000 staff, operating in the care and housing maintenance sectors.

He is also former Chairman of maintenance contractor Sureserve Group PLC, (formerly known as Lakehouse) where he completed a major turnaround to deliver a very strong financial performance, overseeing a 125% growth in the company's share price.

In the same year Bob was awarded an OBE for devoting significant amounts of energy and time to charity.  Having also invested and worked extensively in the energy sector Bob brings enormous leadership skills to the Airfriendly team.

James Shotton, FRSA

James has spent over 20 years running businesses servicing non for profit enterprises and many international charities.

He is also a Non-Executive Director and investor in several energy and data orientated service companies sourcing and providing sustainable products and services to a wide range of client in diverse industry sectors.

James has an extensive background in delivering large scale projects involving principal stakeholders from the boardroom through to downstream business partners across global supply chains.

Having worked with clients such as The Woodland Trust, The World Wildlife Fund, Greenpeace, Friends of The Earth to name but a few, James has a detailed understanding of the challenges faced by the environment and commercial enterprises as they move toward a carbon neutral future. Based in the UK James is also responsible for Airfriendly's operations in the United States.

Ryann Trinder

In the world of sales, where profit margins often take precedence, Ryann’s career has been defined by a profound passion for sustainability, making a positive social impact, and working with clients who share her commitment to improving the environment. 

Ryann is a visionary sales professional whose journey is an inspiring testament to the intersection of commerce and environmental consciousness.  With a unique blend of sales acumen and environmental expertise, Ryann has worked as an industry sales & marketing professional for over 10 years determined to bridge the gap between profit-oriented endeavours and responsible environmental stewardship. Her commitment to this cause has resulted in the education of many blue-chip clients about the importance of sustainability and carbon offsetting in their operations and the positive commercial impact this can make on their brand and bottom line.

Ryann embodies the notion that profits need not come at the expense of the planet and is as a testament to the power of aligning personal passion with professional pursuits. 

Ken Wallington

Ken is an innovative technology leader with a passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship. As the Chief Technology Officer at Airfriendly, Ken spearheads the strategic integration of cutting-edge technology solutions to drive the company's mission of combatting climate change through effective carbon offsetting.

With over 30 years of experience in software development and sustainable tech solutions, Ken has a proven track record of leveraging data-driven insights to create impactful products and services. His expertise in harnessing artificial intelligence, blockchain, and data analytics has enabled Airfriendly to provide transparent, efficient, and scalable carbon offset solutions.

Ken is a hands-on Enterprise Architect and transformation champion with a proven track record in shaping and supporting European and Global Strategic initiatives across large global organisations.

Under Ken's guidance, the company continues to revolutionize the way individuals and businesses participate in the global effort to create a greener future.
